A moment for the dress ✨

Sarah’s wedding dess held all kinds of significant meaning. Her mama wore the dress when she was a bride and Sarah was sooo excited to wear it in honor or her mom. She had a few alterations made to truly have it be her own but kept the detail work, lace style. Stunning isn’t it?!?

My family and I have been taking every opportunity to be outside lately. 🌼 Spring has to be my favorite season with being able have the windows open allll day long, the birdies happily singing and flowers in bloom everywhere!!! I mean wow a gorgeous week we are having here in TN—minus the crazy thunderstorms of course!! 🤪 anyway it’s allll got me feeling all sentimental about these adorable spring engagement sessions. 🌷

So many people these days are getting new phones with cameras built in. And they are pretty nice. But nothing even comes close to beating a professional camera. The difference is clear when you zoom in to the details. Your phone? Lots of grain and blurry. My camera? Crystal clear. Your phone? Lacks depth and array of color. My camera? Popping off the page with contrast, saturation, and depth.

Hey all 👋 It’s me Ruthie!

I figured it’s about time for a little reintroduction. This has been a season of a LOT of change in my life and I can’t wait to share the exciting changes with you!!

I moved to Tennessee! Yep you heard me right! My family and I moved this spring down to the gorgeous state of Tennessee right outside of Knoxville. 🏞️ It’s an adventure we’ve been dreaming about for a long time and we are so thankful for God moving the pieces to allow it to happen in this season.

2024 marks the year I have begun my journey of being a mamma! 💕 My husband are loving this season with our sweet little girl and exploring our new home together.

So! Here’s the deal. For all my Illinois friends, clients, couples and families I will be back often to the area! So many of you I have loved making yearly memories with and that doesn’t have to end. 😘

And for my NEW friends in the Knoxville area… welcome to the party!!! I can’t wait to meet you and capture allll of your special memories in this beautiful place we call home! ✨
